(List of old Lost posts)
I can't really say that this episode had a lot of mystery in it, every show has got these kinds of episodes, just gotta live with it.
Anyway, spoilers await for those who do not heed this warning :)

There wasn't all too much to say about this episode, but still, beware of the spoilers.

Darwinia is a 2005 FPS developed by Introvision, although by looking at it you couldn't tell it was released a month ago, the graphics are on par with 2001-ish games, which also happens to be what I love about it.
The story is somewhat cheesy; a scientist (basically your tutorial guy) has developed this little dynamic world full of evolving AI stick men called Darwinians (their intellectual capacity is basically that of the Lemmings), a virus has infested their low-resoluted world and you're up to the challenge of saving their world.
The only controls you need to learn are about 9 buttons, the WASD controls for camera, and the mouse for navigation, it's all very easy to get into, despite being little green mindless stick men, I think the Darwinians are quite charming :)
One downside is the lack of music and voice acting, but I guess at least the voices would have spoiled the old-school feeling. One really cool thing is their intro, instead of creating a cool cinematic, they made an old cracker intro (played a wares game? you'll know what I mean)
The Goals of the levels vary, but it's usually about escorting the stick men to various places using your own player-controlled squads. It's simple, yet addictive, so get on it, get Steam or just download a standalone demo, there's even a Linux version! The Steam version (no box) is only $25, that's cheap for something that will keep you from doing your school work :)
And don't just think I'm some crazy old-school gamer that longs back to the old 480 x 640 days where a pixel could easily represent a head, this game got a 90% from PC Gamer along with a "must buy".
Last but not least: it's moddable!

The horrible low-res caterpillar of doom!
The game is actually running on the highest graphics settings now
In case you didn't get it the first time, I'm actually fighting arrows with my lasers

Time for the weekly (sort of) Lost summary of what I found after nitpicking the episode, snooping on forums as well as blogs.
Spoilers are obviously present , so watch first, read later, or read one of the old summaries.

Someone is going to kill me if I keep up this long string of tasteless jokes...
