November 28th - International degauss day

Heads up, everyone!
Tomorrow is international degauss day, a day when all owners of CRT monitors can come together and degauss their monitors. International degauss day was founded by me by making this post, it seems no one ever thought of doing it before, so I am hereby dedicating a day to this noble feature of soon-to-be ancient monitors.
About degaussing
The degauss button was the button that "ruined the computer" according to my 3rd grade teacher, so I decided to push it when no one was around, nothing happened, so I proceeded to terrify her by pushing it in her presence. No more computer for me in a while...
What it really does is it removes a magnetic charge that may cause your monitor to skew, turn violet or something equally crazy, your monitor loves you for degaussing it and will make sounds to show its appreciation
To degauss your monitor, navigate through your monitor's menu system until you find something like this:

Not only does the sign prohibit U-turns, it has a negative attitude towards horse shoe magnets. Your monitor should look something like this now...

...And make happy sounds like fWWwwwtttrrrr..... *tick*
