Here's this week's roundup on what theories, finds (and mistakes) I've found in this week's episode of Lost.

There be spoilers, so stay away from this post if you haven't seen ep 9 of season 2 yet.

Full list of summaries

I couldn't find that much on my own, except for that hand sticking out on the right side of the screen. But here's a nice little summary of what I've seen other people post:

Dr. Marvin Candle's eye

Watch the Dharma initiative orientation film, you might notice the size of Dr. Candle's (the guy reading the instructions) pupils are of different sizes. Does he have a glass eye? We've seen one before (episode 7)...

Dr. Candle's left eye is visible for a moment when the film lights up:

Sayid's cameo appearance

The TV in the recruitment office is playing something that looks like a military promotion tape showing footage from Iraq, you can clearly see Sayid the first time the TV is on screen.

The horse trainer

In the scene with Sawyer, Kate and the horse, notice the hand sticking out to the right :)

Bibles

This is the second time bibles pop up (the film was hidden in a bible), remember the smugglers from episode 19, season 1? They were pretending to be Nigerian missionaries, here's Boone looking through what looks like a bible:

Also, the name of the next episode is The 23rd Psalm, which can be found in the bible, it reads as following:

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
